Our story

Manix Capital, S.L. was incorporated in 2018 in Manresa (Barcelona, Spain). Today it is the group’s holding company: it holds and leads six companies and develops the technology they all share. We call that model a Technology Builder.

Manix Capital was born out of more than three decades of experience growing companies, developing technology and turning innovation into projects with real impact.

Along the way we have founded, led and grown companies in sectors such as telecommunications, artificial intelligence, digital marketing and technology applied to business.

That experience taught us that real value does not lie in a good idea alone, but in the ability to turn it into a solid company, make it grow and constantly adapt it to an environment in permanent change.

Today we put that knowledge at the service of new ventures, developing companies and technology solutions with a shared vision: creating sustainable value through innovation.

The founders

Meritxell Bautista

Executive President

Technology entrepreneur, speaker and specialist in leadership, innovation and digital transformation. After more than three decades creating technology companies, she leads Manix Capital with the aim of building projects that combine technology, business and positive impact.

She firmly believes technology is only useful when it helps people grow.

Listed among the 100 most influential women in Catalonia 2025 by Forbes and, for the fourth consecutive year, among the 500 most prominent women in Spain according to El Mundo. Winner of the DonaTIC 2020 award from the Government of Catalonia, the international IWEC 2020 award, the Talent Chamber award and the FIDEM award for co-responsibility. She has also received the BCN FEM TECH award from Barcelona City Council, the Pompeu Fabra 2022 award for her work in favour of the Catalan language and the Sant Jordi Creu Casas 2023 award from the Institute for Catalan Studies. She is a board member of ODEE (Barcelona Chamber of Commerce) and an advisory board member of M4Social.

Josep Olivet

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Technology Strategy Officer

Entrepreneur and technology architect specialising in telecommunications, digital platform development and product architecture. With a long track record growing technology companies, he leads Manix Capital’s technical architecture and product vision.

He shares one simple conviction: the best technology is the one that can create value again and again.

An entrepreneur from a very young age, he founded his first telecom company at 16 — the forerunner of Altecom — and later co-founded Fibracat, a leading operator in the Catalan market that launched innovative initiatives such as Fibracat TV. Recognised as one of Spain’s leading telecommunications specialists, with a career focused on IP networks and artificial intelligence, his work has been distinguished for its contribution to technology, communication and the promotion of equality and the Catalan language in the digital environment.
